Online payments provider launches website with Totally Communications and FIFO

07 July2008: PayPoint.net, a wholly owned subsidiary of PayPoint plc and the UK's leading online payments provider, today announces the launch of its website (www.paypoint.net), which has been collaboratively designed and built by software and web developer Totally Communications and design agency FIFO.

PayPoint.net processes secure online payments for UK businesses, while complying with the highest level of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PC I DSS).

Following its acquisition of Metacharge and SECpay, two of the UK's leading independent payment providers, PayPoint.net wished to create a website which would combine the expertise of both companies under one PayPoint brand. PayPoint selected FIFO to design the website and Totally Communications to develop and build the platform.

Due to an immovable internal deadline, a key criteria of PayPoint's brief was that the entire project would need to be completed in within a month. Accordingly the decision to appoint Totally Communications to the web site development was based both on the company's proven track record in delivering projects on time and on budget as well as its technical expertise.

In total, from delivery of the design templates to completion of construction, Totally Communications was able to successfully complete the project in less than four weeks providing a powerful content management system, integration of the knowledge base and customer support for SecPay and Metacharge and initial search engine optimisation to drive natural search listings.
